Avash Shrestha
Founder — HamroPets & Adopt a Dog Nepal
He started this journey with all of you back in 2018 — founding Adopt a Dog Nepal and building HamroPets.com, Nepal's first dedicated pet platform, from halfway across the world. More than a thousand pets have been rehomed since, every placement free, sustained by community rather than profit. What began as a simple act of care has quietly become real infrastructure for animals and the people who love them.

💬 Let's Collaborate →The Nonprofit Behind HamroPets Has Rehomed 1000+ Pets Since 2018
HamroPets is presented by Adopt a Dog Nepal (ADAN) — a nonprofit founded in April 2018 by Avash Shrestha, Founder & Executive Director, and based in Kathmandu. ADAN has been rehoming rescued dogs and cats across Nepal for over 8 years, building one of the country's most trusted animal welfare communities with 91,000+ TikTok followers.
Every pet listing on HamroPets is reviewed and approved by the ADAN team before going live. Every walker is ID-verified. Every vet listing is manually checked. This is not just a marketplace — it is Nepal's most trusted pet platform backed by 8 years of real animal welfare work.
